The score is available for immediate download at http://www.freehandmusic.com for $7.00. A copier and some scissors/tape will get you some "preview" copies to use until your parts arrive from brassworks in under an hour. Even if you don't want to go that route, you can get the entire score and parts at freehandmusic for $14.00. Pay, print, go!

(And nobody on TubeNet has to break the law...bonus points!)

kilimangnome wrote:I ordered Under the Double Eagle, a euphonium and Tuba Quartet, from Brassworks4.com, but the problem is they can't ship untill tommorow, and I really need the pieces today so we can practice. Im afraid we wont have enough time if we wait untill we get the music. We have to perform it Feb 7 is there any way one of you could send me the files? Thanks in advance.
Hmmm, maybe ask Connie at BrassWorks4 if she could email you the files? This would be a more prudent approach rather than posting asking for illegal copies on a forum that she frequents!!!!!!!

Or since the only version for Tuba Quartet on her site happens to be the one I publish, you might want to ask me rather than posting on a public forum and asking for an illegal copy. Here is my email if you would like to try that approach: bvdpress@snet.net" target="_blank

BTW, thanks for the purchase! It is a much appreciated and I am sure Ron Geese, the arranger, appreciates it as well.

And enough rambling for the night,

Thanks Todd and Bryan for reminding folks of the legalities surrounding copyrighted material. TubeNet is a tremendous source for valuable information and sharing of great ideas. Let's not abuse it by using it for illegal activity. Copyright laws and all laws, are established for good reason, to protect. Bryan has posted numerous times here at TubeNet outlining those hurt by copyright infringement.

The first of a long list of definitions for the word "law"
–noun
1. the principles and regulations established in a community by some authority and applicable to its people, whether in the form of legislation or of custom and policies recognized and enforced by judicial decision.
2. any written or positive rule or collection of rules prescribed under the authority of the state or nation, as by the people in its constitution.
3. the controlling influence of such rules; the condition of society brought about by their observance: maintaining law and order.
4. a system or collection of such rules.
5. the department of knowledge concerned with these rules; jurisprudence: to study law.

By the way, "Double Eagle" has been shipped.
