i play on a Rudy...4/4 CC 5 rotor...i like the sound i get on my mouthpiece...its a Warburton "jacobs" heavywieght...but i played on my friends Monnete 98...i dodnt like the sound i got on it at all...but i did like the RESPONSE...it was the only thing i liked about it......my articulations sounded cleaner and quicker.....so what should i try to get better (quicker) response out of my rudy???

I used a Monette 98 on my Rudy and now I'm using a G & W Bayamo. It has the same clean articulation as the Monette, but opens up the sound. It's less expensive than a Monette!!
