Christmas tuba solo with band

Post by Lew »

As our community band begins preparing for the holiday season, our band director asked if I knew of any arrangements available of a christmas piece for solo tuba with band accompaniment. Any ideas?

OK, here is a sameless plug...

You can check out my music webpage! Through my site, you can look at, and even listen to my music before you buy! Just download the free plug-in to let you see the music on screen. I have arranged music for Tuba, Tuba quartet, Brass Quartet/Quintet, 10-piece, and Brass Band!

More specifically, you should check out my rendition of "Silent Night" for Tuba and band in the "Christmas" folder!

Hope you find something you like!

The spritual, Go Tell it on the Mountain, is popular and fun at TubaChristmas.

I see an easy jazz ensemble arrangement arranged by Roy Phillippe for $40 at Sheetmusicplus.com. Shouldn't be too hard to re-write for solo tuba.
