Got a pleasant surprise while walking past the choir room door at church this afternoon. A older adult dixieland band was performing for our older adult travel and rec club. It sounded decent so I popped in. The tuba player was really putting a nice bottom on the group with what I think is the handmade Deck model. Got to see it up close later and it is indeed a MW 2000. Beautiful horn, beautiful sound and it fit really nice in the dixieland genre. I was really surprised to see a 5V CC in that setting.

I'm guessing that was Bruce Vreeland (spelling is wrong I'm sure). He's a good tuba player, and takes lessons from Don Strand. Also a very loyal Lee Stofer customer.
