Also got some custom work done to my horn...
It was done at Western Iowa Tech Community College...where I'm learning to do the same.

Stop Rod created out of 2 stop rod posts, 2 sax posts, and a clarinet F lever

Saturn Water key replaced the old one

Key ring replaced and moved down from original spot. But the soldier joint was sloppy. I might clean it up.

Yes, maybe not the best jobs, but for the price and everything combined, it was good...
The parts I had to pay for, the labor, I didn't... :)

How do you like the Saturn water key? Was it particularly difficult to install?

The Saturn waterkey is great. I don't think it was too hard to install, the only difficulty installing it would be making sure there are no soldier globs near the inside of the key, which isn't that hard since you only soldier half of it to the instrument.

No army... My Dad was in the Air Force, but I have no aspirations to join... Unless they come to me and say "Wow! You're so amazing, here's a contract that if you join, you have a spot in a band"... But I don't think that will happen.
I think I'll just endup fixing instruments for a living

I'll be honest...I'm terrible with spelling solder. Plus, my spelling and grammer check doesn't pick it up.
