How about this 1918 USQMC Conn?
1918-conn-BBb-1978.jpg

I rescued it from a basement - removed the duct tape and nasty stuff growing in it and had it reassembled. Not a bad use of $350! Sold it to someone on the East Coast a few years ago. The band is http://ltwcmb.com/ (see if you can find a somewhat famous person playing sousaphone in our 2009 parade coverage.)

Maybe. I have three CCs up for sale at the moment. I might get the larger belled 822 Bobo or the Miraphone Petrouschka. Or I might keep it. It is a very good one (if you like ugly, stripped tubas).

love the helmet.. I had one of those when i was kid! (helmet not the helicon) Is that a helicon helmet? to protect your head while putting the helicon on?
