Today's rehearsal with Sound Wave, brought the Conn, which drew a lot of attention.... Here's it next to a King 2350

There was a bigger sound coming from the "back row" at last night's band rehearsal. Our principal tubist (tubaist?) just acquired a Conn 34J... made in 1934 if I remember right. What a sound!! He shared a couple of pictures with me and said it was okay to post on here. The horn in his lap is his CB-50 — which kinda looks like an 'over-sized' euphonium next to his 34J. :lol:
Bill B played in one of the Navy Bands years ago.

Warming up at work this evening. It was freezing inside the concert hall, so I headed out to the benches between Mara Hall and the MS Art Museum. I love sitting there and warming up; a very favorable tuba spot. Yes, that is a Holton 6/4 BAT. I am a pretty big boy...
