Happened to visit the Hornucopia store in San Carlos CA today (no relationship to the famous brass compilation website AFAIK) and the owner was showing off her latest accqusition - I took a few snaps but only one was clear enough: more views of a similar horn:http://www.horn-u-copia.net/picture.php ... 199459.jpg

It was not too tight of a fit for me (I am not exactly a small size) and it had a pretty good tone for a horn of this age. Don't know if Sandy wants to sell it right away - she had been working on buying it for 17 years!

The previous owner had an antique store in another city and the horn was on display there (as a sales gimmick, I guess.) She did not want to sell it, but finally did when she retired.

That's the big difference between humans, and frogs etc. When a frog does something, you know there's a logical reason.
