Sean:
My wife and I are former members of
Chicago Master Singers, with whom we performed these two works with
Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra.
Rex Martin played his Eb Besson for both pieces.
With which orchestra and chorus are you playing these pieces? Enjoy!
Bruckner on CC

I've never played the Dvorak, but I've performed the Bruckner Te Deum and it works very nicely on a CC tuba. For my taste, I prefer the CC Tuba sound to teh F sound on Bruckner in general. What a great tuba part this has!

It was a church gig, but unfortuntelly I feel like crap and had to call a sub.
BTW, both tunes work ok on CC, although I think Rex had the right idea to play the Bruckner on his Eb tuba. Perfect register and projection for balancing the vocalists.

So did I, a few years ago.
I really liked both pieces, and both sat well on my Besson 981.
