Via the link to the tribute to the late Tubaman of Seattle this photo came up:
Very likely an Eb, yet not one of the small British ones as I remember them. And I wonder a bit over the valve slide pull. That is more than I pull on my old British high pitch Besson when I tune it down to A=440.
