(sometimes people don't read the 'upcoming events' section).

As some of you may know, I am (in addition to a lousy tuba player) also a composer.

April 26th at the Wharton Center on Michigan State University's campus, the MSU symphony band will be premiering a wind band piece of mine entitled "Underneath the Silence".

If any of you happen to be in the area or felt the desire to come out and see the premiere, I would definitely encourage a visit.

In addition to my piece, we will be performing "Frolicking Winds" By H. Owen Reed and Carmina Burana by Orff. Should be a nice concert.

Love to see a tubenetter there. If so, be sure to say hello. :)

"Underneath the silence" is an excellent piece. His harmonic and rhythmic use is very interesting.

The piece draws you in like a "page turner" novel. You want to know what comes next.

Bravo, Brooke! Great job!
Thank you very much! Glad I could illicit some enjoyment :P
