Bach 5J?

Post by ken k »

Conn-Selmer playing their brand name roulette???

I think it's just a typo by the folks at Guitar Center...err...Musician's Friend....err...Muisc & Arts....err...music123...err....musician.com....err...Woodwind and Brasswind.

If anything, I think that C-S is moving away from the "GM" model of having the same model rebadged under another name (no more Conn woodwinds, Bach marching brass or horns, no more King horns, Benge trumpets only, etc).

I know back in the 80's UMI had bought the tooling for the old Olds )-99s and was selling them as Bach tubas, but that did not last long unfortunately.

Which led to the "Bach-maha" low brass instruments (Yamaha horns produced on contract, but stamped with the Bach name).
