I've had my Schillerbrunner for about a month--its my main axe and use it in all my groups. The finish is fine (now if I can just stop bumping into things with my horn!) The action is very quick and quiet...the only thing I had to do was shave down the bumpers a bit. I have large strong hands and have a tendency to "bang down" so if there was a problem with the paddles/linkage, I definitely would have exposed it by now. I've gotten quite a few compliments about this horn--it performs well and I'm very happy with it.

They're being marketed in the UK under the Stagg brand name

Looks like they're slightly pricier here but I'm still watching them with interest.

Still....for what it's worth, nice looking horn. And with the increase in quality, soon enough....there may be a real market for these things.
