VP Debates: anyone hear the music (after it was done)?

Post by jon112780 »

I'm pretty sure NPR played the VP Debate "theme song" a couple of times, at least twice after the debate was done. I think this arrangement was for brass, but the chordal structure and especially the trombones sounded like Ewazen. If you have heard how Eric Ewazen scored the trombones in his wind band compositions 'Legacy' and 'Flight', you might get an idea of what it sounded like. Anyone else hear this too? :D

If we're thinking of the same moment, it was the third movement of his Symphony for Brass. It was actually the theme song for the DNC (at least on the local networks here in Boston)
