Very cool.
I just came up with something for my Martin tonight. The valves have always been hard to push down (I know, I should work on that). There is always a lot of resistance. I realized that if I put a piece of string around the 1st valve slide, it can hold down my wrist. This keeps me from pushing more vertically and gives my hand another way to give me leverage so my thumb (in the thumbring) doesn't do all of the work. It feels a lot easier now if I need to smash down all 3 valves for a low B or something. (smash-figure of speech)
