from David Werden's website:

After battling with some of the inflictions that can come with age, euphoniumist Arthur Lehman passed away today at the age of 91. Arthur had an incredible career and was a great friend to the euphonium world. He always had time to talk to other players and even students he didn't know. He has also authored a great deal of material about music and the euphonium.

this is very sad news, indeed. He was "one of those" that we all should know as much as possible about....
also from DW's site, a ton of articles by Mr. Lehman :

That makes me sad. God bless you, Art, and thank you.

Very sorry to hear this. I knew Arthur very well and saw him often during my 27 years in the Marine Band. He was a kind and generous man, and was incredibly devoted to music.
