I'm playing this piece for the first time tomorrow evening. Only pages 1 and 2 of the tuba part were included in the music packet, and those contain mostly long notes and some multi-meter rest counting.
Does anything extraordinary happen in the tuba part in the latter portion of the suite (end of "Motorcade" and the segment called "Arlington")? Is a mute required (it's not in the first two pages)?
