Is there a collection of Brass Quintet music specifically geared for an Oktoberfest concert? If not, or, even in addition, can you recommend some good Oktoberfest arrangements for Brass Quintet?

I have played the German popular repertory, mostly as 1st flugelhorn on my corno da caccia, but I have’nt arranged any of this stuff aside from from Im tiefen Keller for 2 bass tubas and for 2 bass tubas + contrabass tuba respectively.

The closest are some Danish folk dances for various permutations of the American polka band (quite difficult tuba part). Also the 1875 American "Helicon Schottische" where the tuba solos within the quintet setting.

The German commercial settings vary in quality, but they in general are cut over the same patter, which calls for minimum 5 winds plus drums.

The melody is set in 3 part harmony, which are covered by these parts: flugelhorn 1+2 & Tenorhorn 1 (Bb treble clef).

The afterbeat/harmony section shall be covered by minium Horn 1 or Trombone 1 (Treble or bass clef)

The bass line shall be covered by Tuba 1 or Tuba 2. Tuba 1 is written fairly high in and above the staff. Tuba 2 sound much better, if only 1 tuba.

The Bariton line sounds good together with the Tenorhorn 1, but is not essential in small settings, as it often just doubles the melody an octave down.

Edit: Samples added. Minimum trumpet 1+2, trombone 1, euph 1, tuba. Several vaarious notations, so that the horn may play the tromb part and the tromb plys the euph. Or the horn reads the euph part from the tenorsax notation (horn in Bb basso):

The term 'quintet' usually implies the use of a horn in F along with two trumpets, a trombone, and a tuba. The publications that have been mentioned already are scored for Bb instruments... Hungry five arrangements and such.

The German band I play with, The Rhine Valley Brass.... uses two trumpets, two clarinets (yeah, I know... they ain't brass!), one trombone, one euphonium, a tuba, and a drummer. I can suggest many titles but if you're looking for F horn parts, you're pretty much on your own.

Aren't some of the Schnicklefritz books still available? IIRC, they had a wealth of stuff for 2 clarinets, trumpet, trb, and tuba.
Of course, the Hungry 5 are always good and adaptable.
