Me... me... me!

Hey, kids! Rule number one. Make sure you have the correct pistons, the stems are the right length, and some moron hasn't 'fixed' a piston by soldering a washer on top. Also... the fingerbuttons and top caps need to be appropriate for the pistons and stems.

There's lots more to this than just measuring. I've seen factory set-ups that weren't right... IE... some of the Martins where the inside of the cap does not bottom out on top of the casing.

Then.... once the dimensions are determined for a specific make and model, there's no guarantee that the same dimensions will apply to the same make and model of that same horn.

Dimensions are good, Joe. But... I think you still need a visual to make sure things are right.
