How to Replace Wheels on YXB-621 Case?

Hey folks,

One of the wheels on my YCB-621 case has broken (actually the second time it has happened!). The problem is, that the wheels are made of hard plastic, instead of rubber. I am looking to replace the wheels, themselves, rather than buying another new set (that will break) with brackets from Yamaha.

The wheels are approximately 1.25 inches in diameter, and appear to have a riveted axel. I am trying to figure out who to go to, to see if the 4 plastic wheels can be replaced with rubber wheels. I am pretty sure I can find the replacement wheels, but the bigger problem is finding someone who can replace the axel.

Here are some pictures of the problem wheel:

Thanks in advance, for any, and all thoughts!

You should be able to get castors or wheels from Home Depot/Lowe's/ACE/TruValue. Get the kind that do not swivel and that you can use wood screws (four each) to attach to the underside of your case.

Make sure the horn is out and that they are aligned before drilling

It took me about an hour to:

-drive down to Lowe's
-find (2) castors the right size, and wood screws (8+) the right size and length
-drive back
-mark and drill the (8) wholes
-insert screws
-sweep the shavings from the patio into the bushes

Thanks for your thoughts, Jon, but the case is made of fiberglass, and I am not sure of the effect of screws in fiberglass.
I was hoping to find a set of castors/wheels that had the same fastening plate, so I could just slide them on! :)
In absence of that, I thought to replace the wheels themselves, but that looks like it may not be too easy to do.
