Break out those old recordings...

This evening, I spent a little time poking around on iTunes looking for something new to listen to.
But then I decided to go back and listen to some old recordings of my college's win ensemble. It's probably been 6 or 7 years since I've listened to some of this stuff, and it really brought back great memories of how fun of a group it was to play in, and what a talented group of musicians it was. Good stuff!
Also, being a community band-only player for the past few years, it makes me jealous for those days again -- a 50-piece group of serious players, correct instrumentation, and some tough rehearsals!
(No real point here, except to say that you don't always have to buy new music -- just dig a bit through your old stuff and be surprised.
