New Composition for Euphonium!!

Hello fellow tubenetters!
First I would like to say that I'm a new member of Tubenet and proud of it!
I have finished a composition for euphonium and piano called Fantonium. Fantonium is the combination of fantasy and euphonium. This piece is about 11:30 minutes long, features a lot of technical challenges and has 2 cadenzas. This piece will be premiered around October at Michigan State University. I'll keep you all informed about anything else regarding this piece!

Glad that you got that done! I'm excited to hear your piece. Glad you see you finally fell to the dark side and joined TubeNet....I am sad to say I have been here for several years......
Probably spent about a year total on the site too

Yes, I am the soloist who is premiering my composition. It's convienent for me since I play euphonium myself.
UPDATE: Fantonium will be premiered on Oct. 20 at 8:00pm in the Music Aud at Michigan State. The concert is called the Undergraduate Premieres Concert, a concert featuring new compositions by undergrad composition students.

For those of you that didn't see the premiere of Fantonium, that's ok, because there is a link to the webcast that was live on Tuesday night! Unfortunatly, I've been very busy within the past few weeks so I wasn't able to notify you all sooner. It's archived in this link!

Fantonium is in the 53:00 minute mark (maybe earlier I'm not sure). I also premiered a piece for brass quintet; The Sacred Way. It's located in the 1:12:00 mark. The concert was a little over 2 hours long!!

ALMOST FORGOT!!
The sound quality of the video is bright, so if you notice that the piano and I are sharp in pitch, that's because of the video set up that was involved.
I apologize for the quality.
