Sam Burtis and the embouchure code

Post by Todd S. Malicoate »

Anyone remember this discussion?

I believe that the previous discussion thread went the way it did because of misunderstanding. It does look like something that is worth your while to explore and apply to your own playing. Here's hoping we can have an informative, helpful discussion about a new way of thinking about playing that has the potential to benefit at least some of us.

Give it a try...there's nothing to be gained by a closed mind.

It had nothing to do with being closed minded and everything to do with Sam wanting free promotion of himself and his lectures and his product without becoming a paying Sponsor. It is simple economics. I am fully aware of his campaign to paint this as some kind of closed mindedness on my part regarding the wisdom of his teachings. I can assure you that this has nothing to do with his philosophies and everything to do with attempted advertising theft on his part.

He and his products are not welcome here. In no small part due to the highly insulting and demanding email correspondences I have received on the matter along with his desperate libelous comments elsewhere.
