I have sent some info and links off-list.

Anybody in the New England area should really check this event out HONK! - it is a real kick! Sousaphone players walk the streets of Somerville like counter-cultural demi-gods and there are a lot of fun performances and audiences that are having a really great time!

The parade on Sunday from Somerville to the performances at Harvard Square Oktoberfest is also outstanding. Later Sunday evening there is a massive multi-band performance - this year at the Somerville Theatre (home of the Museum of Bad Art, by the way ;-))

That museum isn’t just bad. It is bordering on distasteful misrepresentation:
