Holton's pretty much done. I believe any currently made tubas or euphs are stencils except for the little Harvey Phillips tuba.

For some years all Holton tubas but for the Harvey Phillips models in CC and BBb were made by Yamaha.

The Holton BB-345 and CC-345 tubas were last made in the early 70's. Holton was part of G. E. LeBlanc since 1964. In 2004, LeBlanc was bought by Conn-Selmer, and the Holton site, which links from the Conn-Selmer website, shows only Yamaha stencil trumpets, trombones, and horns (except for the Farkas-model horn).

The website sucks, and the TU-331 Harvey Phillips tubas may be hiding in there somewhere, but I doubt it. I see them still for sale from some retailers. They are tiny in comparison to the old Holton 345 and prior models.

According to the Janesville (WI) Gazette, the original Frank Holton and Company factory in Elkhorn, WI ceased production at the end of the summer, 2008. Production moved to Conn-Selmer's Eastlake factory (which is the old King factory), and I suspect they are only making Farkas-model horns--only about 30 of the remaining 70 factory jobs made the move.
