World part?

Has anyone ever seen a tuba or trombone part labeled "World Part"? This part is printed in bass clef, but the transposition is off from concert key. I had a trombone friend ask me about a part he had read the previous night in rehearsal. I could only tell him that I have seen parts marked Eb, Bb, and C for tuba, with only the C part in the "correct" key to play with the rest of the group. These were usually on parts from Switzerland, Belgium, or Holland, if that gives a clue. The tuba parts were not labeled with that "World Part" that my friend's trombone part was, though.
Just curious! 8)

I just bought Robert Longfield's "The Bells of Christmas" ... a Barnhouse publication and I was amazed to see that the treble clef euphonium part was listed as a 'World part' and had to be downloaded separate from the original copy. There were treble clef Eb and BBb tuba parts listed... but not for CC tuba.
