I frequently find myself the only tuba in a couple of concert band-sized ensembles I play with. I wondering if that might help with tone, endurance, etc., as I routinely have to play one dynamic marking louder, and sometimes two, to balance and support the ensemble. I just might have to give this one a go.

I just got a copy of the low register studies, and will be adding a copy of this one to my library ASAP. Thanks for the thread!

I've bought the encore Arbans for tuba, and the complete Bordogni and Concone from them as well.
They are fantastic editions. My only complaint is in their choice of binding. I've been using these books for 3 months now, and its
already apparent they won't last long. Beyond that, they are fantastic.
