Hey Tubenet,
Does anyone know what the orchestration for the Vaughan Williams Concerto is and where it can be found?
Thanks,
Ben

If you want the performance parts they are available on rental, only and will cost you about $450 to rent. Look at the usual sources: Lucks, Schrimer, Oxford, all the places that handle this sort of thing. One of them either has it or can tell you where to find it.

Yep.
Being ever so slightly more specific, it calls for:
2[1.2/pic].1.2.1./2.2.2.0. tmp+2 and strings
This means: 2 flutes (second doubles piccolo), 1 oboe, 2 clarinet, 1 bassoon and 2 horns, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, no orchestral tuba (solo only), timpani and two additional percussion players, strings
The percussion list is:
Timpani
Snare
Triangle
Cymbals
Bass Drum
Orchestral parts are rental only.
