MW2141 Eb pictures

Post by cambrook »

I'm looking for pictures of the Meinl Weston 2141 piston Eb tuba, in particular the rear view showing the layout of the 5th slide. I thought the MW site used to have a few pictures but it only has a front view.

Thanks in advance

The only thing I don't love about the 2141 is the ergonomics. Just terrible (for me). I'd have one now if I could physically handle it. Oh well... (also had the same experience with the 621 F).

Thanks for the pictures Klaus. If anyone has a picture of the back of a 2141 showing the top of the 5th slide I'd like to see it.

Thanks for the interesting perspectives guys, but I'm not looking to buy one, I'm just interested in the layout of the 5th slide :-)

Cheers,

A thorough, high resolution .jpg documentation of this model and of many other less than mainstream brass instruments’ models will be welcome for my brass galleries. Please rather not art photos showing odd angles. Blueprint type displays of front and back plus of interesting details are very welcome. As are readable shots of all engravings. Email me via the button right of here for establishing contact.

MW ergonomics (in general) have had ergonomic problems for me. Something about the layout AND especially when they are the models with the giant pistons ( I have small hands ). Though my old Mirafone had wide/large valves....
