Notice:

Southern California tuba and euphonium players!!!!!!!!

The US Marine Band is playing a concert at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus on Monday October 26. The tickets are FREE, all you have to do is get there.

Get ahold of these folks:

UCLA Central Ticket Office
P.O. Box 24607
Los Angeles, CA 90024-0607
(310) 825-2101

Tickets are available. This is a great hall. It's free. You have the night off. Support your country.

I am growing sick and tired of flute, clarinet, and trumpet players outnumbering tuba players at these concerts. We need to show up big at this concert. People are starting to wonder where all the tuba nerds are. You are one, show up. You won't be sorry.

Other so cal date can be found at:

http://marineband.usmc.mil/" target="_blank

Click on the "tour to the west coast" icon on the right.

Get on it. Tubanation needs a boost.

Rant. End.

Cameron, decaf.....

Seriously folks, go on out and see it. The tour guys are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel (Vegas lights, that is). So hop in the car and go check it out. Maybe Cameron will even favor you with the U. of O. fight song.

This is a concert worth going to. There were at least three tuba nerds in my section at the Eugene concert (Cameron, I sat just up and to the left of Michael Gross). GO TUBAS!!

I went to the concert last night here in San Diego. The band was awesome as always. Both the Tuba and Euphonium sections (along with everyone else) sounded fantastic! Definitely a can't miss event.
