My guess is a 2182 in front, a 983 to the left, and a Boosey Eb all the way to the right. The rest I dunno....

The attachment- Mirafone contrabone, Rudy contra cimbasso, Mirafone 190,... I can't make out the 2 contrabones by the guy.

I agree that the Eb tuba front left is a British style 3+1 cavalry instrument but I'm pretty sure it's not a Boosey. I play a Boosey cavalry tuba & have taken a photo at a similar angle for comparison:
As you can see there's more going on above the valve block with the main slides going up, and rather more tubing in the 4th valve/ compensating loops below the valves. The bell on mine is a 19" replacement that my repair guy thinks came off a King instrument, but as that work was done well before I got it he's not totally certain.

It could be a Hawkes model. Charlie Brighton (Highams on this board) owns one of those & would be better placed to confirm that.

the little thing in the back on the left of the picture looks like a Couesnon baryton...
but many barytons look like that: mahillon, De prins, ...

so I don't know really...

I think I have 4.5 - with the possibility of the cavalry being by Besson or Boosey & Hawkes.

I'm thinking also that the Eb on the far right might be a Pepper.

The main slide braces on the two rotory axes sure look like Rudy Meinl.

The second pic looks like John Van Houten's setup. I believe the F is a Firebird and the CC is a 188.

Cool! There was a front valve Hawkes Eb for sale on here a while back, but I didn't know they also made Bb's like that! The little thing's an alto horn?

Wherever I found this picture, I seem to recall it being said that Tommy Johnson played on this so perhaps those are his horns? That does look like a contrabass cimbasso.

About what I think are 2 contrabones further back, is the smaller one one a compact contra? It looks too have too much tubing by the bell to be a bass.
