If you were playing these mouthpieces (and perhaps some others) back to back on your 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 CC or BBb, how would you compare them?

How would you rate them according to: color, response, mid register, low register, flexibility, etc..?

Which horn were you using them on?

Preferences?

On my own, I've found the Bayamo to be a nice match with the 1291 CC, and the Parke/Ofenloch really nice on a PT6.

I do know there are a lot of PT6/6P players that really their PT50/88's, but I'm sure there's somebody out there that may have a 'little known' horn/mpc combo that's really nice...

I'm using the Caver on my Willson 3200 F and Cerveny 653 F. I like the results A LOT.

I've tried the Caver on my Willson 3050 CC, and don't care for it. Just doesn't trip my trigger in the tone and low register response department. I use a Loud LM-3 on the Willson CC.

I use a heavyweight Bayamo on my Miraphone 188, and have used it on all the other horns I've played on.

I have a heavyweight Caver sitting around, I don't like it.

The Bayamo really darkens your tone, and boosts your low end. And playing high isn't that much harder than on a small mouthpiece.

Love it!
