I know this is already in the Events section, but I do want to mention it here so everyone who is in driving distance of TCU, Fort Worth, TX can make plans to attend Oystein's second visit to TCU. He is scheduled to perform on the evening of Octuba 28th in PepsiCo Recital Hall at 7:30pm. Oystein will also be doing a Masterclass on the 28th from 3:30-5:30pm and for those who are in broadcast range of WFAA TV Channel 8 Dallas/Ft Worth, Oystein will appear on the "Why Guy" morning TV show. Get up early though I think he will be on somewhere between 5:30-6:30AM, YES, AM! It promises to be a great day of TUBA! I hope to see many of you at the events. Oystein's appearance is being funded by Horn Haven Music, of Dallas and the Miraphone Corp. and the admission is free. We will have a small tuba/euphonium exhibit for those of you who might want to try a 1291CC, a 188, and a 1258 Euphonium.

Thought I'd give this a bump.

DFW tuba players, don't sit on your butts next Thursday. Rain, sleet, hail, or elections... get to this masterclass and recital.

If tuba players won't go a few miles to hear one of the leading artists of the day, why should we expect anyone to travel to hear any of the rest of us?
