Some of us don't like to think that is such a long time...................
I think the most interesting aspect of that statement is that he's been playing a BBb tuba that long. The vogue when I began playing in 1957 (OVER fifty years ago) was to start a kid out on Eb tuba.victor tubo wrote:Wow,

Looks like we have been at the game for pretty well the same time. Same here, but 20 years less.lgb&dtuba wrote:Started on BBb sousaphone in 1957. Never played anything but BBb. Not all that uncommon I'd think.
