howdy fellow tubenetters,
I saw some Dillon PS mouthpeices listed in our "for sale" forum. I have been looking for some specs on them and can not find any. I guess Dillons is no longer making them?
If anyone knows their specs and how they compare to say a DW 3L please let me know.
Also what is a PVAK?

Sheridan Mouthpiece Specifications
Sheridan series mouthpieces are only offered in the “P” shank. That is the intermediate European shank that is just slightly larger than a standard Bach tuba mouthpiece.

The Orchestral series mouthpieces are for players with a strong embouchure that want a truly big sound. The O2 is the best seller in this series.
The Solo series is best used on the smaller tubas such as Eb and F. The S3 is our best seller and is what Pat Sheridan plays. I find it most responsive of the series. The S2 has similar measurements, but a different curvature at the throat which gives that a darker sound than the S3. The largest of the solo series is the S1 and can be used with some success on CC and BBb tubas. The S4 and S5 are smaller versions of the best selling S3, with the S-4 having a darker sound than the S5.
And from the Wick flyer about the 3L: Deep cup, large fitting; cup diameter: 31.25 mm; overall diameter: 47.35mm; rim width: 8.11mm; bore (throat): 8.78mm; backbore: large barrel; Description: Deep well rounded cup and huge throat and backbore give huge organ-like tone; Comparison: VB 24AW; Schilke 66.
