Sad news

I know that stories like this are unfortunately not rare, or particularly newsworthy in their own right, but this has hit the Perth music community very hard. I didn't know Daniel well, but his mother is a viola player in our orchestra. As a parent of young children I can't imagine what it must be like to lose your only child, especially in these circumstances.
So very sad for everyone involved.
