Greetings, all!

After dropping my son off at Alma College this past Sunday, my wife and I stopped at the Travelers Club in Okemos, Michigan for a bite, and of course for the Tuba Museum. Sadly the kitchen was closed already (it was a slow day for business) but they did let us look around. Dang, they have a lot of brass hanging from those walls!

Hanging in one corner (over a picture of a man with an OTS bass saxhorn) was what appeared to be a tarnished silver Conn 20K. Maybe. Everything from the gooseneck to the bell joint looked a lot like my 22K. If possible, that bell joint might have been even bigger, but the bell looked unnaturally small. Would you guess that is was just an old 20K, or a different model of Conn, or a mismatch of bell & body?

If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping in for look. Maybe next time I can get there and order the gyro that I had my heart(stomach) set on!

Kiltie, wasn't the last time that you were there when you played the EEEb helicon?
