TubeNet

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some more information on this piece by Roger Jones. Here's what I know so far:
-From the Tuba Source Book:
There are six movements; Dimetrodon, Pterodactyl, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and T Rex.
"Conservative range demands, but the metric demands are too challenging for an advanced beginner."

I've also found it for sale from the Tuba Euphonium Press and R. King Music. I've put a hold on the piece through interlibrary loan at my University, so I can check it out before I buy it.

Besides that information, however, I haven't been about to find out a single thing about this piece- not even after running a search on Tubenet!

Has anyone played this? Heard it? Know of an obscure recording? I know I'll get more info once it arrives, but I'm dying of curiosity to know more about it. My studio is having a competition for who can find the coolest piece through the interlibrary loan system, so I really hope that the music is as awesome as the title!

Thanks for your reply! The collection sounds really interesting. I'd love to hear some of them too, if you have any recorded. As a big Jurassic Park fan, I have a feeling this belongs in my collection, if for no other reason but to play for fun.
