I have some rather advanced students that want solos for this year's "contest" and they also wish to do a duet. Past solos have been Morceau Symphonique, The Rimsky-Korsakov Trombone Concerto and a piece by Rosseau for trombone (I forget the name). Last year's duet was #1 from the Blume Trombone Duets.
Your help, as always, is greatly appreciated.
Have a great one.

The next step might be the Gordon Jacob Fantasia. Maybe Endearing Young Charms. not sure about duets.

Re: solos
Dave Ritt, trombonist with the Seattle Symphony, has a duet book and CD for the first volume of Rochut.tasample wrote:P.S. I'm not sure who publishes it, but there is a duet book for some of Rochut's transcriptions of the Bordogni vocalises.
