So far as I know it's a straight copy of the Bach 24AW. I've parped a few notes on one but since I don't play a Bach 24AW I can't tell you any slight differences.
If I wanted a 24AW style piece I'd probably just get a Bach.

I tried one many years ago on my Besson 981 and it is a bit smaller in diameter than a Bach 24AW. It played fine, but I personally preferred the 24AW and stuck with that.

yes, the rim is slightly smaller and the throat is slightly larger and I think it is slghtly deeper, but it is only by about 0.5 to 1.0mm. I have played with a PT24+ for the last 5 years or so and before that the VB24AW and the first mouthpiece I had was a VB25.
I like the PT24, it gives a big sound when needed and a nice ppp as well, I find higher notes (G on the ledger lines) harder (not that I have to play them too often).
tuning on my Courtois is fine, I can play for hours without fatigue, it does sound unpleasant if you overblow, but that is probably true of any good mouthpiece, the only thing you can do is try one and see what you think for yourself.
