There have been many references to using Ultra-Pure lamp oil on valves in other posts. I'm trying to get as much feedback on the subject as I can in one thread, so I thought I'd put up this poll. You can select one response for pistons AND one response for rotary. Please feel free to post your reasons for/against. Thanks for participating!

Have been using it for five years on pistons after seeing it recommended on this site. Diluted 1:7 with 3-in-one oil. Can't beat it for price and lasts for a week or more.

I just use it in my old oil lamps.
