Not sure if this has been posted here yet, but I am helping to spread the word.

From Fritz Kaenzig:

On March 28, at 4 p.m. in the Britton Recital Hall (Moore Music Building on the North Campus of the University of Michigan), there will be a Tribute to the life of "Mr. T", both inside and outside of music. We would welcome any of you to attend, and perhaps say a few words or share your music with the others who will be gathering. The Torchinsky family will be there and we'll present them with a memory book, so any stories or memories that you'd like to share for that and/or the program booklet would be most appreciated. Please let me (Fritz Kaenzig) know if you think you might be able to join us in A2 for the Abe Torchinsky Tribute.

Please pass the word along.

I will be unable to be there in person but will be there in spirit. I only had the priviledge of about 1 dozen lessons with Mr. Torchinsky in Plymouth Meeting, PA., after his retirement from University of Michigan. What a kind, generous man he was and what a wealth of musical knowledge as well as experience. I attended the celebration of Mr. Torchinsky's life at the Doubletree hotel in Plymouth Meeting that was held this past September. Thank you for organizing this one at the University.
