Bloke strikes again !! Guys , consider this a public service announcment !!!! This MP has serious merit. It is as dark and rich and warm and round on my St Pete as the larger heavier mouthpiece that I have been using . With more bite , I immediately feel cleaner and faster without losing any of the power or oomph ! If you were to marry the characteristics of the GW Alan Baer with those of the MF3 , you'd end up with this puppy !!!
Power mixed with warmth and color ! Talk about selective breeding ? Darwin would suggest that this one survives and gets to go forward ....nice job Mr Bloke !!!

Re: BLOKE #3 backpiece w/ #2 rim
Mine (exact same combination) arrived today. I will be playing it in public tomorrow and see how it reacts in a large room.
Keeping the #1 backpiece, that is a true solo piece.
I will either send back the #2 euro (not ideal on my horn) or keep it for when I come across Euro shank tubas.

I agree...just nothing short of amazing...cleaned up articulation, airiness...etc...nothing short of awesome
I think I might end up as a grumpy old man when I get old...
