Raise the Roof

The first piece on this week's Detroit Symphony Orchestra concert broadcast was the world premiere of Michael Doherty's Raise the Roof. The piece features timpani throughout, and there is a prominent tuba part that starts with a nice solo. The range of the tuba solo apparently hangs around the middle to top of the staff and goes down to DD (lowest D on the piano). It's probably a fun piece to play. The tuba player sounded great; I assume that it was Wesley Jacobs. I would ask him directly, but I don't have his e-mail address. Does anyone know what horn he used for this piece?
