What's the best brand of silver polish to get for an old, rather dirty contra bugle?

Haggarty's. Used by MANY drum corps.

Or Wrights.

Or Twinkle.

Are you sure that your horn is silver or if it is old enough, chrome. For chrome, use windex and a soft cloth. Once the chrome wears thin, then the underlying brass starts to show through and it will always look discolored.

I like the Twinkle and the Gillis spray polish personally.

I don't remember the name of the polish, but the repair guys at the music store I used to work at used this stuff in a baby blue aerosol can. It smelled ABOMINABLE but was great aside from that.
