Tubenet People,
Hello there! I own a Miraphone 5050T euphonium that has the tuning slide trigger. I'm wondering if anyone has had luck bathing the instrument on their own at home. I used to bathe my euphonium myself when I owned a Willson 2900, but having this tuning slide with trigger makes me nervous. Any helpful suggestions would be welcome!

I have a besson prestige with trigger.
You will have to watch out for the trigger mechanism that it doesn't scratch the plating when taking it off !

You also might check over on Dave Werden's site if they have anything that addresses that particular issue. Lots of helpful stuff over there!

Get it chem-cleaned...there's spots you WON'T get at, trust me.
I had the trigger on my York 4052 damaged when I got my last chem-clean, so I would either dissemble it or let them know about the part.
