Ok, so I have really been focusing on my sound ALOT lately. What are some exercises for building a great low register on F tuba, like those of Tim Buzbee and Alan Baer? They have a nice bite down there which really helps in quintet playing and playing "Six Pack" I suppose. Also, what is a good exercise/therapy for getting rid of the stop/lock between exhalation and the start of a note?

Hey, 2badude!
There are methods for the kinds of things you asked about, but the best advice of all would be to get lessons with a good teacher. A good teacher will be able to analyze what you're doing and guide you to great results and excercises to get you moving in the right direction.

I wrote my dissertation on this phenomenon, and am actually currently working on an article version of it to submit to the ITEA journal. I'm interested in exactly what's going on with you. If you've got time, send me a message and describe what's happening, I might have some insight.

I'm sure the top players would blow me out of the room, but I work on the low register by playing descending scales down into the pedal register. The louder the better, and slower is better than faster, too. I expect anybody with a good sound has done something very similar to build it.

I don't know what a stop/lock is , so I don't know about fixing it. Usually the fast track to fixing just about anything is to buzz on the mouthpiece away from the horn. Mirrors are helpful when doing this.
