This Band, Alexander Brass - named after a pub, is a bunch of old bandsmen
just getting together a few times a year to do this and the nationals

Not a "Low Brass Section" but this is the Allure of The Seas Orchestra following our New Year's gig last night (somewhere between Haiti and Jamaica) with a cameo from the captain (who doesn't actually play, but he likes to joke and we play along for a good laugh)

Here's the tuba section from tonight's concert by the CT Symphonic Winds: Two of my best students and me. Vici Zelinsky got me started as a tuba teacher when I retired from school teaching, and she has kept on playing.
Andrew Hook is just finishing high school and heading for Carnegie Mellon.
The old guy is me.
