I am looking for a solo insturment plus piano accompianment for " A Might Fortress is Our God" The solo instrument can be written in either bass or treble clef as long as it's for a Bb instrument ( No tuba.I don't want to have to transpose up an octave). This will be played on euphonium. I've looked around and the one arrngement I found by Aurthur Fracknephol I did not like. Anyone know where I can purchase this online ?

There's a nice arrangement (grade 3-4) in the
Great Hymns collection by James Curnow. You can find a sample on the
Curnow Music Press website on the Philip Smith Series page under the listing for the book.
It's available from all the usual suspects.

Most old hymns can be downloaded as free MIDI files from the internet. Just type the name into Google and you'll find it. If you have access to any kind of music notation software you can convert Midi files to sheet music easily. You can also edit and transpose the charts any way you like.

Since he asked for a SOLO PLUS PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT and specifically mentioned the Frackenpohl arrangement, I think it's safe to presume that he's NOT interested in simply playing through melody a couple of times backed by a piano, or in making his own arrangement.

I approve of your musical selection.
