his first Cd is one of my all time favorite CDs, definitely top 5.

it is simply great playing and writing by all involved. I bought it from Matt when Bonerama performed in Reading. When I first heard it I was so blown away by it i bought a dozen copies of it online and gave them to students and friends. I just wanted everyone to hear this guy and his music.

I will definitley have to check this one out!

Matt is a cool guy. He borrowed my sousaphone last time he played in Denmark.

I like the stuff he does/did with the "Tin Men" a lot. Just 3 guys - sousaphone, guitar and washboard. Very unique sound.

Obey the Sousaphone!

just got the cd and gave it a quick listen, classic neo NOLA stuff. Can't wait to listen to it some more this weekend.

Listened to the cd yesterday in the car two times while driving to a from two gigs.

Not only do I love matt's playing but his writing is very clever as well. I love the way he writes for the clarinet and violin. they play together extremely well. I generally do not care for jazz violin (have never been a big fan of Grapelli or Blake) but this guy has some real feel for the syle and l Ilove the way he glisses around the fingerboard.

Great stuff all around. i would say buy this ..... NOW!
